Ba.ExSci (Hons); MD Physiotherapy
Josh joined Our Physio in 2022. Making his way up the M1 with a Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Exercise Science (Honours) from Charles Sturt University in Bathurst. He has experience in researching the effects of exercise on chronic diseases, medical and orthopaedic rehab in hospitals and has worked with both amateur and semi-professional sports teams. Having personal experience with injuries at work, in sport, or in surgery, Josh likes to draw on his own experiences to relate to his clients and develop an appropriate plan together. He believes there is nothing more rewarding than getting people back to doing something they didn't think was possible.
In addition to his previous experience treating a variety of conditions in Sydney practices, he has also knocked about on jobs landscaping and laboring and has a keen interest in the tools fixing his 4WD. Josh predominantly played soccer from a young age in addition to Rugby League and Union in his teens/early 20's. As a kid who loved playing most sports he's played and still has an interest in other sports like basketball, cricket, tennis, swimming, athletics, and weight training. Josh loves getting to know his clients and educating them as to why they've been in pain or struggling, then developing a holistic treatment plan with his clients to achieve their goals and ultimately change their life for the better.
In his free time, he likes to get out camping in his 4WD, take his dog for a walk, watch the footy, go to the beach and work out at the gym.
