Mitchell Manson
Physiotherapist
Ba. Physiotherapy (Honours)
Mitch studied a bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at Newcastle University graduating in 2018 and has spent his time working in private practice and most recently as one of the physiotherapists for Newcastle Knights Inaugural NRL Women’s Premiership side, treating a wide range of injuries and conditions, particularly low back, shoulder, hip and knee pain. Mitch has previously worked in the hospital setting on orthopaedic, rehabilitation, and medical wards.
With a background in semi-professional sport as a player and also completing an internship with the Newcastle Knights Juniors and then following up as one of the physiotherapists for the Newcastle Knights inaugural NRL Women’s side, Mitch understands the effort and commitment required to help you achieve your goals. Mitch’s passion lies in rehabilitation and conservative management of injuries but has the skills and personal experience to determine when further intervention is required having undergone foot, knee, and shoulder surgeries himself. Given his extensive background with injuries, Mitch has developed a keen interest in treating shoulder and spine pain as well as acute sporting injuries. Mitch has continued to further his knowledge, completing a number of courses post graduating including those focused on the lumbar spine, shoulder, and knee, and is also qualified in dry needling.
In his spare time, you can see Mitch falling off his surfboard or chasing his not-so-obedient dog up the beach.
